Suhana KhanACTRESS

Suhana Khan is an actress from India primed to become one of Bollywood’s rising stars in the coming years. Following her famous father, actor Shah Rukh Khan, into the film industry, Suhana studied acting at NYFA’s New York City campus. She graduated from the 1-Year Acting for Film degree program in 2016. Following her NYFA graduation, Khan made her on-screen debut in Theodore Gimeno’s 2019 short film, The Grey Part of Blue. In the film, Khan and her co-star play a young couple (Sandy and Robin) who must face the realities of their relationship while traveling on a two-day road trip.

Suhana will make her feature film debut later this year in The Archies, written and co-produced by Zoya Akhtar for Netflix India. Based on the iconic Archie comic series, this live-action, coming-of-age musical drama set in 1960s India features Khan as Veronica Lodge alongside fellow next-generation Bollywood stars Agastaya Nanda and 2019 NYFA Acting for Film alum Khushi Kapoor.

While The Archies will be her first feature film appearance overall, Suhana and her famous father plan to collaborate on an as-of-yet unnamed film directed by Sujay Gosh and produced by Siddarth Anand. The film, an action thriller set to begin production next year, is Suhana’s theatrical film debut. Additionally, Suhana will star in another film with her father and Anand as co-producers. Although no production dates have been announced, this as-of-yet unnamed action film will feature Danish Aslam as director.
