Swati Chugh originally hails from India and studied at New York Film Academy’s Burbank-based campus in 4-week Filmmaking Workshop. Her final film project at NYFA, New Heaven, about a middle-aged woman who struggling to come to terms with aging and mortality, received a great amount of acclaim on the international film festival circuit. Some of the recognition New Heaven received include: India Best Silent Film at Druk International Film Festival, Official Selection at the Florence Film Awards, Italy, and Official Selection at Berlin Flash Film Festival.
