Broadcast Journalism Program

Learn Digital Journalism and Broadcasting at NYFA

At the Broadcast Journalism School at NYFA New York, students research, write, shoot, produce, and edit their own compelling stories, working from our own instructional TV studio. In this full-time program, aspiring journalists work alongside of our experienced faculty who have decades of professional journalism experience as Directors, Producers, Reporters and Content Creators for national and international broadcast networks, along with digital news platforms. Upon graduation, students will earn a college credit-bearing Certificate.

Students build fundamental narrative skills and create cross-platform nonfiction video content, learning to use industry-standard HD and 4K cameras and digital editing software.

By completing this conservatory-style program, students gain the flexibility to continue their education in Broadcast Journalism or pursue their professional goals in the entertainment and media industries.
