Actress Illeana Douglas made her mark with memorable roles in Goodfellas, Cape Fear, Stir of Echoes, Ghost World, To Die For, and her starring role in Grace of My Heart. Her television resume includes work on Entourage, Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Ugly Betty, Law & Order, Emmy-nominated appearances on Six Feet Under, and many more. She visited students at New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles campus in November 2011 for a screening of Easy to Assemble, recently named the most successful branded webseries of all time.

Douglas cheerfully answered questions from acting students about getting started in her career, working on character development, choosing roles, and the difference between working in film and television. She concluded, “We are the people who portray people’s lives and dreams and aspirations, and that has more importance than reality TV.”
