Alfredo Julio Moreno Tavares was born in Aveiro, Portugal. He received his 1-Year Acting For Film Conservatory at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. The talented actor can speak English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and some Italian.

Tavares has extensive work in the industry as an actor and will be joining the cast of the hit Netflix series, The Crown again for Season 5. Tavares will be playing the role of Prince Charles’ private bodyguard. Part of his role required etiquette training, which he received due to his upcoming role as a member of the Royal Household Staff.

The actor appeared in Matt Reeves’ The Batman and Andy Serkis’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage in 2021. Tavares was once of the main actors in the TV Holby City, playing the role of Gerry and featured in the 7th Mission Impossible film starring Tom Cruise, playing as a DNI Security Officer and US Marine.

Tavares is now a featured actor in the TV series The Devil’s Advocate as Giancarlo Parretti, and plays a Russian spy in the US series The Peripheral. The NYFA alum will also be appearing in the upcoming Steven Spielberg film, Whirlwind starring Tom Hanks, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3.
