Solmaz SharifBROADCAST JOURNALIST

An expert in a range of Middle Eastern affairs from political to economic to cultural issues, Solmaz is a veteran journalist. After attending New York Film Academy’s Broadcast Journalism program she has gone on to work for media powerhouse CNN, Voice of America, and MTV. She is a passionate advocate for women’s issues and is the founder of the first Iranian women’s sports magazine, “Shirzanan”.
