Olya Schecter is an alum of the 1-Year Documentary program at NYFA’s New York campus. Her debut, the critically acclaimed 2018 documentary feature “A Sniper’s War,” premiered at Santa Barbara. It also won the Prix d’Or or “Best of Festival” at Lower East Side Film Festival.
