Photography for Kids in NYC
The 12-Weekend Photography Workshop is an immersive exploration of digital photography for aspiring young photographers. Throughout twelve consecutive Saturdays during the school year, kids aged 10-13 learn the technical and aesthetic tools of digital photography in a fun, supportive environment, studying under the guidance of professional photographers.
Program Name: 12-Weekend Photography Camp for Kids
Hours: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (12 Consecutive Saturdays)
During this hands-on workshop, students explore the tools and visual language of photography. Along with in-class exercises utilizing natural light, students also go out on location for supervised photoshoots in interesting New York City locations. Using the images they capture, students learn to edit photographs using Adobe editing software. Students are provided with a digital camera to use during this workshop. At the end of the program, students receive a USB drive with copies of their photos. Students need to supply their own packed lunch.
