Cinematography Program

Learn The Art of Visual Storytelling at NYFA

For aspiring Cinematographers who are eager to enhance their visual storytelling skills and pursue creative goals, NYFA’s 1-Year Cinematography Program provides intensive training in filmmaking, lighting, editing, color correction, still photography, as well as film craft.

In this rigorous, full-time program, students will learn how to perform various roles in film, media, and entertainment through coursework and hands-on projects, gradually building up a cinematography reel with examples of their best work. Upon graduation, students will earn a college credit-bearing Certificate.
