Graduated from NYFA LA Campus in 2011
He gained widespread recognition on the groundbreaking sketch show In Living Color, which he co-created with brother Keenen and earned four Emmy nominations. As both screenwriter and performer, he helped redefine TV comedy by blending bold satire with social commentary. His film credits include Mo’ Money, Blankman, The Great White Hype, and The Last Boy Scout, showcasing his ability to lead in both comedic and action-driven roles. In 2001, Wayans co-created and starred in the hit sitcom My Wife and Kids, which earned him a People’s Choice Award. He later headlined the TV reboot of Lethal Weapon (2016–2019), successfully reimagining a classic franchise for modern audiences. In 2024, he launched Poppa’s House on CBS, co-starring with his son, actor Damon Wayans Jr.
