Emma Arnau is a freelance digital journalist based in the South of France, with over 14 years of experience covering hard news, major events, and human-interest stories. She began her career with a local TV station in Tahiti before returning to her home country of France, where she now reports from the French Riviera for various national news outlets, agencies, and a local television station.
Her work spans shooting, writing, editing, and occasionally producing content for both broadcast and social media. She also serves as a sideline reporter for the European Basketball Championship in Monaco.
Throughout her career, she has reported on high-impact events including the terrorist attacks in Nice, severe weather incidents, national social movements, and international events like the Cannes Film Festival. In addition to her fieldwork, Arnau shares her expertise with the next generation of journalists through occasional teaching at her former journalism school in Cannes.
