Learn Digital Photography at NYFA
During NYFA’s photography workshops, students develop essential skills in commercial and fine art photography, learning core elements of the craft through a rigorous cycle of shooting, editing, and critique. In the short-term programs, students learn-by-doing through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience, creating original projects and portfolio pieces that push them creatively and intellectually.
Due to NYFA photography classes’ intensive nature, they’re an excellent fit for students who want to go beyond their passion for photography and develop skills in just a few weeks. Photography students can choose from a selection of full-time and part-time evening and in-person and online workshops at several campuses and locations. All students are required to bring their own digital camera with manual exposure control.
