Veteran Student Filmmaker Nick Jones, Jr. Interviewed on Fox & Friends

May 21, 2015 One of the shining features of the New York Film Academy is that it boasts a number of military servicemembers and veterans who have decided to learn the craft of filmmaking in order to provide first-hand storytelling of what it’s really like to serve.

There’s nothing more authentic than a military film created by a Marine who has served this country for nearly ten years. Such is the case for New York Film Academy BFA Filmmaker Nick Jones, Jr., whose film Cold Choices is premiering at the G.I. Film Festival on Sunday, May 24th at 10am.

Jones was recently interviewed at the festival by Fox & Friends to discuss his service, his film, and the New York Film Academy. Have a look at the video below to see what he had to say.

Cold Choices tells the story of the CIA pinpointing the location of a high priority target. Major John Polanco, a black ops command officer for Pacific Command, is ordered to send in a team to retrieve the package after warnings of high risk.

The G.I. Film Festival, held in Fairfax, Virginia, is the first of its kind to exclusively celebrate the successes and sacrifices of the service member through the art of film. This year the event runs through the Memorial Day holiday, May 18-24.
