As a part of NYFA’s Industry Guest Speaker Series, director, writer, and producer Mark Romanek visited LA’s campus on September 1st, 2011. Romanek is well-known for his work in music videos, directing for Madonna, Jay-Z, Michael & Janet Jackson, David Bowie, Fiona Apple, Johnny Cash, Nine Inch Nails, Lenny Kravitz, and many more. He has won more Grammy Awards for music videos than any other director, and his videos have garnered 19 MTV Video Music Awards. He also directed Robin Williams in 2002’s critically-acclaimed psychological thriller, One Hour Photo.
