Online Producing Workshops

Learn Producing Online at NYFA

In NYFA’s online producing workshops, students gain an introduction to the business and management of creating film, television, new media, and creative content. Under the virtual guidance and mentorship of our experienced faculty of producers, students study a number of topics related to Producing, including creative and line producing, project management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, marketing, and distribution, as well as the process of creating a film, film festival strategies, and entertainment law.

Based on the program length, students will be exposed to different levels of basic filmmaking skills in lighting, sound, and editing. Students will also get practical experience in presentation, pitching, and creative collaboration. No prerequisites or prior experience is required to attend.

Online Producing Workshops

To accommodate all schedules, we offer online full-time and part-time producing workshops. The longer full-time and part-time workshops offer students more exposure to hands-on elements and experience. Beginners will gain foundational production skills and knowledge and more advanced students will have the opportunity to refine their craft. Please note that required software for the workshops will be an additional cost. See “Equipment and Technical Requirements” below for more information.

Online Producing Workshop tuition generally ranges from $500 – $2,000 USD per workshop. Check the tuition page for the most up-to-date tuition information. The dates page for upcoming workshop dates. Connect with Admissions with any questions about these immersive workshops.
