András S. Takács is an award-winning Hungarian documentary filmmaker and journalist, best known as co-creator of the acclaimed series On the Spot with his wife and collaborator, Eszter Cseke. Together, Takács and Cseke have directed and produced over 80 documentaries, filming across five continents and covering topics from revolutions and conflict zones to tribal communities and human rights. Their distinctive approach—working with minimal crew and equipment—has earned international recognition, including the Golden Nymph at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, the Press Freedom Award from the Council of Europe, and the Hungarian Pulitzer Memorial Prize. Kendall Ciesemier is an American writer, producer, reporter, and health justice advocate. Her activism and service work have been recognized with honors such as Glamour Magazine’s College Woman of the Year, Chicagoan of the Year by Chicago Magazine, and the Daily Point of Light Award.

At age 11 she founded Kids Caring 4 Kids, a nonprofit organization supporting children affected by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, which has raised over one million dollars and engaged thousands of young people.

Professionally, Ciesemier has worked as a producer and reporter for The New York Times’ Opinion section, Mic, and CBS News. At Mic, her interview with Alice Marie Johnson helped inspire Kim Kardashian West’s successful campaign for Johnson’s clemency, leading to significant national impact. She served as the host and Senior Executive Producer of Multimedia at the ACLU’s podcast “At Liberty” from 2019 to 2024. She is also the host and creator of the “United Bodies” podcast, focusing on the complexities of health and lived experience. She is also the co-founder of OWN IT, a women’s leadership initiative aimed at empowering college-aged women through engagement with trailblazing female leaders.

Karen joined CBS News in early 2025 after three years at NBC10 Philadelphia, where she reported on a broad range of topics, with a particular focus on the AAPI community, public safety, and gun violence.

Emma Arnau is a freelance digital journalist based in the South of France, with over 14 years of experience covering hard news, major events, and human-interest stories. She began her career with a local TV station in Tahiti before returning to her home country of France, where she now reports from the French Riviera for various national news outlets, agencies, and a local television station.

Her work spans shooting, writing, editing, and occasionally producing content for both broadcast and social media. She also serves as a sideline reporter for the European Basketball Championship in Monaco.

Throughout her career, she has reported on high-impact events including the terrorist attacks in Nice, severe weather incidents, national social movements, and international events like the Cannes Film Festival. In addition to her fieldwork, Arnau shares her expertise with the next generation of journalists through occasional teaching at her former journalism school in Cannes.
